Will my truck be O.K ?

I just finished changing my oil and I accidentally bought a qt of 10-30 oil...so I ended up putting in 5.5 quarts of 5-30 and 1 qt. of 10-30 I didn't realize it till afterwords when I was cleaning up. will my truck be oh or should I drain all the oil out and put all the same in?

You'll be fine. I wouldn't worry about that in the least.

Re: Will my truck be O.K ?

I did that once in my old F-150... Hell, that original engine went over 180K until I sold the truck with no issues. Now, not that mixing oils is recommended, but as long as it was the same brand and it's not synthetic while the rest was dino oil, you should be ok. Just change it out in 3K miles and I doubt your truck will know any different. Since it's your winter oil change, it's just good that they were all 30 weight instead of 40 weight. Better on start up that way.

I used Quaker state full synthetic oil...for both weights.

You will be fine as long as you didn't get any on the flux capacitor. Seriously though, you should have no problems what so ever.

Re: Will my truck be O.K ?

I used to have and old f150 work truck that used as much oil as gas. I would put any kind of oil brand/weight that I could get for cheap. It had almost 200,000 miles on it when I sold it. I just saw the guy driving it the other day.
