I've done my research and from what it looks like the Injen Air Intake gives the titan the most hp and torque over any other intake. It also looks great. I am mainly interested in performance. Is there a better one out there?
Yeah they do look good.
Right now my performance mods are the Bully dog power pup on 93 with the 2 degree advance, and true dual flowmaster 40's. I'm just trying to decide if this is the right intake. I love the way it looks btw.
Your engine will breath quite a bit better with an intake, espcecially with your mods. Bite the bullet and place your order, you won't be dissapointed.

I am not speaking from experience, but have heard that you should not run the 93 with the 2 degree advance.
Why not? I've been running it for a couple weeks now...
Because the 93+2 tune is running timing up to 35 degrees, that is considered to be a hot tune by many of our resident racers and should be used for special occasions, not everyday driving. My 1/4 mile testing showed a better ET and trap speed running the reg 87+2 tune than the 93+2 tune on my particular Titan.

So should i stay with 93 and ditch the 2 degree, or stay with 2 degree and ditch the 93?

IMO, run the reg 87+2 tune and 89 octane gas until BD updates and makes adjustments to the 93 tune.

just go aem bruteforce with a 4 inch ram air mod and youll be even better than with that injen intake. youre getting hot air from the engine into the intake with all them holes. cold air intake is for sealed off and getting cooler air from outside of the truck. id never touch an intake that sucks in hot air from under the hood.

You have any data to back that up, or is it just conjecture?
I just installed the Injen on my 05 Infiniti QX56. I highly recommend it. The sound is sick!!!! Almost stock under part or half throttle-- but when it downshifts or at WOT look out ;-) Response and power are awesome. It has a fitting on the end of it that you could pretty easily add a ram air tube to it also. Fit is very good and secure. The only place that air gets in the box is on the end and very front-- so heat should be that big of a problem.
I will soon be adding a 22" magnaflow muffer and eventually getting the bully dog tuner.
Good luck- you will NOT be disappointed. I have seen them selling for about $380.

The injen is indeed a nice unit, but they all are sooo close. Im a performance junkie trying to get the most outta this truck, ive done 4 different exhaust systems and data logged and track tested them. Im also going to try a new CAI and while i was going to go with the Injen i decided on the AEM instead. I already have a 4" ram air plumbed like the post above stated. I really like the injen tube but not diggin the box 100%. The AEM pulls more cool air from a larger filter, with more space around the cone. The S&B i have now is good but is kinda a pain when testing because it likes to give false AFR readings at times. Whatever you do you will be happy with any of the name brands (people had problems with SES lights on ebay units). Oh and whatever the box claims for HP that number is BS. I recently saw a CAI for the titan that claimed 50 hp gain LOL!!!!
if a CAI co. claimes 20+ hp it is more than likely peak hp at a specific rpm where the gain was greatest. max hp gains are usually 8-15 which is strong.
but no matter what brand you go with you will be happy.
although the ingen does suck some hot air into the engine (as most do)
the performance gains are second to none along with the top contenders.
if you had to choose from ingen, AEM, S&B, volant, nismo.
i would narrow b/t ingen and aem. the aem put up some strong numbers.
you wont go wrong with either..
