Talking Bought the wife a new Nissan Quest at $10K off sticker

Well, bought the wife a new '08 Camry LE about nine months ago, she loved the car but said there wasn't enough room in the rear with both kids back there, so we went to the local Nissan dealership to look at another Titan for her. She still wasn't satisfied with the amount of room in the rear, so we looked at the Nissan Quest minivan. She fell in love with it, has DVD player for kids with wireless headphones, power everything, third row seating, fold away seats, four captains chairs, one becnh in the back, seperate A/C in the rear for kids, on and on, I catually thought it handles very well for a minivan, has the 3.5L V-6, same as in the maxima. Plenty of power from the engine and the suspension is awesome. Ended up paying $21K for the Quest, sticker was $31K, also lifetime powertrain warranty, no limit on miles or years, includes tranny, driveline, seals, gaskets, etc. Free extended warranty up to 75K miles or 5 yrs bumper to bumper, plus as I condition of the deal, I had them fix my driver side rear axle seal which was leaking on my Titan at no charge. Also have lifetime free state inspections, free oil changes, and they gave me a free $20 gas card just for test driving a vehicle. Paid $19,700 for the Camry that I traded in, they gave me $20K for trade in...so made out there also, payments satyed the same, so I am happy and the wife is happy.

Yea, salesman told me they are having a hard time moving the Quest, so they will bend over backwards to sell them....

Re: Bought the wife a new Nissan Quest at $10K off sticker

I traded an 05 Quest for my Titan. Very nice van. I moved most of my belongings on my last move in that Van. Not too bad on gas as well. Congrats on the new Van.. Only thing I didnt like was the original tires (goodyear invictas) and the brakes had to be changed at 14k... but what else is new... nice ride and GREAT deal !

Well, I guess it helps that i have bought two other vehicles from them and I know the manager pretty well now...don't know if that worked to my advantage or not....either way, I thought it was a great deal. They are giving up to $12000 off the '08 Titans right now also.....another smokin' deal. $5000 manufacturer rebate plus another (up to) $7K from the dealer....They have a new Pro4FX on the lot, I think the sticker was $39K, take off 12 grand any you can get into it for $27K...not a bad deal, i think it has just about every option.

Mine was $39,300. I don't have the leather, DVD, NAV, or sunroof. It has everything else though.

LOL, I know what you mean, my wife swore up and down she would NEVER drive a minivan,,, she says "I am NOT a minivan mom". We looked at several different brands of minivans just for grins and giggles, but when she got in the Quest and drove it,I couldn't pry her out of it, so i had to buy it for her.....go figure...lol. She now says she is a minivan mom in style....

We've been very happy with our 05 Quest. We have an SL not available anymore...you either love it or hate it...lol. It's metallic smoke with rouge leather! Art-deco looking is what we call it. It have all the sunroofs and awsome Bose system. Enjoy it.

Yea, your right, you either love it or hate it, no in between. Ours does not have the roof windows or leather, nor the nav system, but does have DVD wireless headphones, rear A/C, back up sensors, all power doors and rear hatch, computer trip analyzer with average MPG, distance to empty, individual tire pressures for each tire, etc. It is comfortably loaded for the price, we have the Quest S version. Glad to hear you like yours, I have heard nothing but good things about them, except for the little stuff that every vehicle has...

Re: Bought the wife a new Nissan Quest at $10K off sticker

If you do alot of family traveling, And load the van up the only thing I would suggest is these air bags. They slip in between the rear coil springs and really help out alot when the Van is loaded. Not overloaded just loaded. Especially if the third row is occupied. It took about an hour to install. When the van was stock it bottomed out hard when a dip in the road was hit now it's tight not uncomfortably stiff but a perfect ride. http://www.truckspring.com/VSearchResults2.aspx?cID=741

Cool, Thanks JAMES CON, appreciate the tip, not bad for only $83.00 either.
