Hey gang! Would you help me please? I just bought an '08 Titan XE 'cause I am a farmer and thats all I need. Would someone tell me please about brushguards and boltups comparing the painted steel bumper bolt-up to the chrom'ed steel fromthe factory? Doe's the center section of the three piece bumper bolt in the same spots between the paint steel vs. tha chrome? I would think that it ]should be the same but I dunno, beacuse I am new to this. I need to install a brushgurad from Westin, beacuse I think they look gooed an heavy, yet they tell me that an XE bumper won't take their products bolt-up. This question I ask you.... Tanks, Joe
Most brushguard I've seen use the mounting hole where the tow hooks would go if you have them. That is the same for all Titan no matter the bumper style.
You could check out some of the pictures in my write-up that I did for installing my Mile Marker Winch Mount. It should give you an idea of where things can mount up to. The MM mount uses the tow hook bolt holes plus the crossmember.

joedee.... having had a grill gaurd, bullbar, and now a replacement bumper. I can tell you these are the only way to do. The first two are for looks only. Due to the poor design by Nissan, there are no mounting locations available for them to bolt on AND be effective. with the possible exception being that MileMarker one. You can expect to pay upwards of a grand for a full replacement, or build it yourself. Being a rancher I know you know how to weld and likely have all the equipment to make it happen.

you can make them effective and be bolt on....if you cut the crashbar off you lose airbags and you lose DOT approval...you can however use a certain bracket and have it very effective and not have the issues that others have had
