Another battery bits the dust......

……well almost. Went out to my truck last night and tried to start it and got nothing but clicking. Went to leave for work expecting to have to jump my battery to get her started but she was barely able to turn over and its still be able to barely start all day. So I figure I should just get a new one before it leaves me stranded. I did a search and see that there a couple options

The Odyssey and Optima, can anyone give me an insight on which one is better, and where I might be able to find one? and what i might expect to pay.

Whatever one you choose to get, make you sure you get the reversed terminal one

Had a red top, wasn't very impressed (it died prematurely) Seriously, buy a regular heavy duty battery and spend the rest of the money on other toys...

I think the Oddysey is made right there in Corona.
Call them up and tell them to make you a deal.
See if that works.

I agree, just had to replace mine last thursday. I was going to get an Optima but figured why spend the money for something I really don't need. Just get a good battery with a good warrantee ad have some play money left over. I opted for an Interstate for $79.00 at Sams Club.

Yes, Optima has had some production problems and had lots of failures.
