It's a catch can that filters the air returning from the crankcase so you don't sludge up your intake manifold and head. I had one in my car and I would empty it out every two weeks because it caught so much disgusting **** that would ordinarily have ended up back in my engine.

I have an extra greddy catch can sitting in my garage and I was thinking of installing it, but honestly I don't think there would be much benefit since Im not running any sort of forced induction yet. I have never noticed much of a problem on any NA vehicle.

I was just seeing what people's setups were. You never know if an issue came up with something so simple. Remove engine cover, pull hoses, attach catch cans, zip tie to something solid, replace hose. It's about as simple as the TB bypass.
I had no idea that there was so much talk on this and literally no action. Hard to believe that the truck's been out for 5 years and nobody is doing this.

I think it's because no one regularly drives their Titan to the point of this actually benefitting them. You have to check them often to make sure your hose doesnt kink or get clogged, that is IF it works on our applications.

A) If you have a PCV system and drive any distance at all, a catch can benefits you.
B) You have to drain the can every couple of weeks, but that's the name of the game. There is no more likelihood your hose will kink or clog than without the can.
C) We have a PCV system. It works on our trucks.
