Last year somebody here had a pistol mount in their titan about rt. shin high and had a website they got it from. ANYbody else mounted a handgun mount in their truck?
i keep the loose 9mm bullets in my cupholders, and my unregistered glock wrapped in a bloody bandana, in the glove compartment. much cheaper than any mount.

LOL - if you believe the association that I am a life member in and that has ties to rifles and such, OBOMA HATES YOUR GUNS AND WANTS TO PWN THEM ALL.

There is no gun registration, in Texas. Only a few states have it, California being one of them. So all guns are technically unregistered.
Hey Albonismo thats f-ing great, love it. beat up the less fortunate, really it's great. All others I am looking to keep it on right side of body. just didn't want to take up space(in door) I could put beer or women instead. Love all of god's glocks.
when i'm not wearing mine (most of the time i am) i keep mine in the holster inside my center console. i don't know if you have the buckets or not. you might be able to get a cheap kydex (plastic) holster and somehow attach it (heavy duty double stick tape, velcro, screws, etc.) to the underside of your dash right above your right shin or maybe(if you have the bucket seats) attach it to the inside of your center console if you don't want it loose in there). mine is larger (Sig 220) and i don't have any problems with mine moving around inside the center console while driving, it's always right in the same spot. if you have a smaller, lighter pistol i've even seen people keep it on the top side of their windshield visor. it has enough tension to keep a small, light pistol between it and the roof without falling open even over bumps and stuff. hope this helps some.

I keep my G23 in the little side tray of the center console, between the console and my driver's seat, resting upside down on a piece of non slip rubber, barrel pointed aft. Nice fit, easy access, fairly concealed.
My P3at backup is tucked nicely in the overhead "cd" compartment.
I noticed at the gun show somebody has come up with a rubber coated rare earth magnet with an adhesive back. Makes for a great under the dash, nighstand, bedrail....."mount anywhere" type of deal. Works suprisingly well and I think it went for less than $30-$40 bucks.
Gun show is today, ....I'll post up a link if I see the name of the magnets.
This is what I have You will need to buy the holster that fits your gun. But it is a quick draw setup. Alot of guys dont like fobus but thats all I carry because it fits the tightest around my waist and fits real good in that universal mount. I also have that mount and holster mounted to my bed post.

Maybe I am crazy but I keep both of mine on me and the rifle is the only one that gets stowed in the back. That way they are always on me and my passengers don't even know.

If you had bought an XD, you could just use the belt clip supplied with some screws into the console. I believe the guy your referring to was GRIM and I think that is how he did it. Mine just rides in the deep dish.
