Why Not Many Pro 4-X

Well after I was on my way to buy an 08 pro-4x my dealer sold it. So I got home and tried autotrader and cant find any crew cab pro 4x within 300 miles of Memphis. Im looking for a smoke or white pro4x around the Memphis area but I cant find one. Of course I want it used I cant afford a new one. Thanks

The PRO-4X is the least manufactured model. According to my dealer, the order is SE, XE, LE then PRO. How accurate that is?...who knows but I had a hard time finding my PRO when searching and thats what I was told. Also, the PRO-4X only came out in 08 so you probably aren't going to find too many used yet. By the time that model came out, gas was already sky high so you probably won't find too many dumping them becasue of fuel prices...yet.
Keep looking though. I've been searching online for a used car for my son so I'll keep my eyes open and post here if I see anything. Good luck!

After my '04 got totaled in January, my quest to find my Pro-4X was very difficult because I wanted side airbags, which is probably one of the hardest options to find on any Titan. Don't give up and keep us posted on your search.

Re: Why Not Many Pro 4-X

I forgot what the model mix by trim level is, but Pro-4x is pretty low. Marketing wanted it to be more of a niche vehicle, and it seems to work since it is one of the more talked about models. Your best bet is to keep looking for a few more months or get one new, or you might get lucky and find a dealer with a new one that they want to get of for almost as much as a used one.

Re: Why Not Many Pro 4-X

That and I love my Pro4x. Wouldn't trade it for anything except another one. I am guessing most like their trucks and don't want to get out of them. Beats any truck I have been in.

Re: Why Not Many Pro 4-X

You could always slap a PRO-4 X on an SE/LE decal and buy the 4x4 emblems and call it a day..... if you wanna go the cheap, alternative route!

hahaha!!!

Your seats will have a black tag with white letters "SRS Airbag"
and your A Pillar will be stamped "SRS Curtain Airbag."

Re: Why Not Many Pro 4-X

It may sound odd but the side curtain airbags were a major factor in buying the Titan for me. I was this -> <- close to being in an avalanche and was one of the first responders on the scene. In the avalanche a Toyota mini-van got blown 200+ yards down the mountain. I couldn't tell the front from the back but 5 of the 6 people walked away with scratches and minor bumps. The driver broke a couple ribs. I became a believer in side air bags that day.
