PRG 1.5 inch level question

Hello, new to forum.

Just bought a new 8.5 4x4 long bed and after looking on here for ideas, ended up buying the PGR leveling kit. It showed up the other day and the spacers are only about 3/4 of an inch.

How does that equal a 1.5 inch lvling kit?

Re: PRG 1.5 inch level question

the spacer goes on the top of the shock. THe bottom of the shock attaches to the lower control arm about midway. By dropping the middle of the control arm 3/4" the end of the control arm where the wheel attaches ends up about 1.5". You got the right spacer.

Re: PRG 1.5 inch level question

i thought the leveling was 2.5"?

or are the 08.5 only 1.5"??

any other affects from leveling? ride change? mpg? or does anyone tow with a leveling kit?

There're 1.5", 2.0", and 2.5" leveling kits. The 2.5" can only be used on the 2WD's.

None of the things you mentioned should be affected by a leveling kit.

Re: PRG 1.5 inch level question

when I read up on some of this, found on the PGR website i believe, that the 08 and 08.5 only needed a 1.5 inch to be lvl. Dont trust me for sure but I think that is what I read.
