Accident (PICS) How much do you think this'll cost me?
I was in a rush backing out of my driveway yesterday and smashed into my grandmother's caretaker's car. The front of her car was demolished, and the Titan suffered some damage as well. I will be paying for all the repairs. Here are pics of the Titan, can this be fixed for less than $1,000?
Ignore the damage to the tailgate, that was there previously.
Re: Accident (PICS) How much do you think this'll cost me?
my guess is over 1k, here is why...
bedside and tool box + new rear bumper = while your at it do the tailgate too...
I'm not 100% sure if the can save the corner on that but it's possible. No frame damage? Also, once repaired paint, etc. You can try a local automotive training school and see if maybe you can get a discount. You'll also need something to drive while the T is in the shop.. it adds up quickly!

considering the T is a soon to be antique, ill honestly say more than 1k. maybe somewhere in the 3-4 bajillion range. yea that sounds about right.

id say deadriver is just about right. plan on over 1000 for sure, unless you know someone personally that can do the body work for cheap. also if possible find out what needs to be replaced (bumper, panels or anything behind there you cant see that might be broken) and look for parts yourself online or at a salvage yard. body shops can be expensive for replacement parts.

I bet you're at least twice that at any decent, reputable shop.

From looking at the pics, bedside probably could be saved. Total probably would be around 1,500 to 2,250. Depends who does it. There is a lot of R&I when it comes to respraying bedsides. Silver is also a PITA to color match. May be able to partial color, full clear that bedside which would save some dough. Find yourself a used bumper.

find a mexican shop. give them exactly $1000.00 CASH and leave them your truck. we'll figure out how to fix it for cheap. i took my old crown vic to get fully fixed in Tijuana one time when i rear ended a Chevy S10. paid the dude 200 bucks. did the work for me. looks brand new!!

$400 for a new bumper alone. $295 for new tailgate. $107 for a new Toolbox Door. That's unpainted w/o labor then add body repair on that Bed Side that would cost $500 for a new one. I'd guess $600 at a discounted rate to paint a tailgate and tool box door. Sorry but I think you're looking at closer to $1500 easy. Searching online Parts Finders might save you some $$$ in Salvage Parts.
