Another Titan Talk money saving moment...

Its getting pretty fricken cold here in Wa and my heater just doesn't blow like I think it should. So at the stealership getting my oil changed I ask what it would cost to get it fixed....they say its $85 to change the in-cabin filter. I said..maybe, I'll make another appointment later this week, not knowing what or where the in-cabin filter was. Research time.

A quick search on here and WHAM!! filter cleaned and changed in 10 min. Heater blows like 2 dime h00ker! Which is a good thing cause it gets below zero at night lately. ANOTHER TITAN TALK MONEY SAVING MOMENT!!!

Re: Another Titan Talk money saving moment...

So did cleaning the filter make that much of a noticable difference in the heat temperature?

18 below zero where I am at this morning. I feel mine isn't blowing as hot as it should either.

What methods did you use to clean it?

Light water through the filter and let it dry.

FYI, you may want to also get a new radiator cap so that the system pressurizes correctly...

Re: Another Titan Talk money saving moment...

Mine seems to blow just fine. I have no idea where it blows though. My feet stay cold no matter what! My old GMC would make your feet toasty, the Titan never has. Ideas on that one?

Recommendations on where to get a new radiator cap or which brand? This is the first I have heard of this pressurizing thing.????
