i just bought a 09 cc se and when i go over certain bumps there is a loud clunking noise seems to be coming from the front end. i just bought this thing this week trying to figure out if anyone has any ideas before i go back to dealwership on monday or tuesday
I have an 09 CC LE 4x4 as well, and this is happening. Specifically over speed bumps in parking garage, at low speeds, and rather quick changes in pavement grade i.e small potholes.
I did some research and it might be the ABLS. Is yours a 4x4, and do you happen to live in a cold climate area?

I have a 09 SE 4x4 with 4,000 miles and it makes the same noise! I had it to the dealership and they could not find anything loose. I told them it was coming from the shocks/struts because everything else was tight. So now they are going to hook up some machine with sensors that is supposed to isolate the noise (so they say).
It seems to be normal on all Titans. Do a search, there's been plenty of talk about it.

yes it is 4x4 and i live in boston ma so it is cold here. i just dont understand how nissan could put out a truck that sounds like that and call it normal i am going to talk to the dealership monday this is my first brand new only 70 miles on the truck i have ever bought i love the truck but hate rattles and clunks thats why i bought something new
my 08 does it. there's a TSB out about the caliper hardware causing the noise and tells them how to fix it. i'd link it, but i don't remember where it is. maybe somebody else can help us with that.

My 08 does it also. Mine almost sounds like its hitting the suspension stops...big loud "thunk". Probably not the stops though because it does it when the suspension is extended not compressed. Clear as mud?

Took my truck to the dealership today and they replaced the struts under warranty. I hope these ones hold up better. The only thing I can think of that caused them to go bad is some drainage ditches on our camp road that you can't slow down for in the snow or you won't make it up the road. I had a 00 Tundra, 01 Wrangler and a 04 Tacoma that I've jumped these ditches with and never had an issue. I sure hope this is not the quality I have to look forward to!
