Key stuck in the ignition after parking

Occasionally after parking, my key gets stuck in the ignition. I can't seem to get the key out the ignition unless I start up the truck again and move an inch or two. Has anyone experienced the same issue? My truck is 2007.

Try wiggling the shifter handle to make sure it's fully in park or simply pull it over to the left position "P" mine does it quite often.

I know that sometimes a key will not be able to turn the ignition because of the steering wheel lock... that solution is just to move the steering wheel a bit to free it up. Try that next time too.

I haven't had the key stick but I did have the ignition stick to where I couldn't turn it. Tried every trick in the book and eventually had the dealership bring a flatbed out to my place, drag my truck up it and after 5 hours of the mechanics messing with it, they just ended up replacing the entire ignition in the column. That was at around 5000miles, no problems since with the new ignition.
