What's with the seat fabric?

Got in my truck with wet clothes yesterday (it was raining) and when I went out to it this a.m. there is a huge water mark stain on the fabric (it's dry). hope that this isn't going to happen every time the fabric gets a little wet. any suggstions?

There have been many threads on this issue. Flip though and you'll find it. I think the way to get rid of it is to moisten and clean the entire seat with something like a carpet cleaning machine.

I currently drive a 2002 Frontier Crew Cab and have the same issue. I take a clean white wash cloth, wet it, wring it out well and wipe over the entire surface. It dries up without the watermark. It does happen every time it gets wet. My Titan will have leather seats so I don't have to address this anymore.

I got tired of trying to keep them clean and got the Nissan seat covers. They are great and look pretty good.

Think about it, isn't that ridiculous to have to buy $300+ seat covers for a new truck because the seats suck?
