i just got back from the track. it was about 98 degrees when i first got there as i missed the first runs of the day and it was even hotter for the runs i didnt see, so remember the times will be slower than in other places. hugo ran a 14.5, then a 14.4. i believe it was shaky in a reg cab who ran 14.0 or 14.1, cant remember. my buddy johnnny, aka titan21, ran a 17.7 the first run, he spun very very very badly and then let off at the end for some reason. his second run he got a 15.7 while still spinning some, but a 2 second improvement shows how bad his first launch was. more hemis were running but i cant put any numbers with the person right now, but there was a 16.5 and a 15.9 by 2 of the hemis also.
so there u go. everyone else will fill u in with more details when they get back and they are still there running and will probably get better times as the temp is going down. titan21 left tho at the same time i did so those are his times.
have fun with the discussion!
One of the Hemi guys made this report.

I personally want to give props too Titan21 for showing up. That takes huge confidence on his part. The fact that he's never raced before on a track ever. He also improved his first run 2 seconds. I am sure if he goes again he will improve better. Not only this, but he showed in a war zone full of hemi's. Win or lose, this guys got my respect!!! GREAT JOB TITAN21. You got my back even on DTW!

I wanted to see a stock to stock truck race Titan21 is modded, And crazy cuban was spraying this proves nothing. I was hoping there would be a couple other truck's that where stock that could get to line them up.

Do the "coke bottle" guys have a permanantly mounted bottle with the O2 sensor in it, or is that something they just throw on when going to the track, then fix back? To me, modding for the track then taking back off is not a good comparison of trucks.

Dead stock been done-MT,C&D,CR,-same result

1#TON all the moto mags have done that, and the results have been close,but....Now,a Hemi Ram might be easier for an amateur to run,so maybe a Ram will outrun a Titan, and it might respond to cheap mods a bit better, but stock CC VS stock QC,with equal(expert,if not pro) drivers-result always the same.No argument,a Hemi Ram RC is quicker than any stock Titan-same hp,but 400 lbs lighter.
These 2 vehicles will always be compared because they are so close-wt,hp,accel.No one bothers to argue "my 3 valve Ford" is quicker than your Titan".
Well,it is fun,Charlie

Mag's are BS, The reason I want to see two stock to stock is because The Hemi has a programed break-in period of 150 hours, I don't know if the Titan has the same thing or not. But I do know this After 150 hours the Hemi is a different truck. That is why I want to see two driven stock truck's duke it out. I have run a couple Titan's With my Hemi, I never got to put it on video, They are so close it's a drivers race.
