Ground Clearance 2wd vs 4wd

Does the 4wd have more ground clearance than the 2wd, even when both have the Off-Road Pkg?

This may sound like a dumb question, but take a look at the photos of CaliforniaTitans truck in the photos section. His is 2wd and it looks lower to the ground than the 4wd's.

Just wondering.

I'm not absolute, but i think the 4 x 4 is just a very small bit higher from the ground. Though it's just a small amount of difference.

Well if you want to know for absolute. We can find one of the guys with teh 4X4 off-road pkg and he and I can measure. Any takers? We can determine measure points once someone steps up.

I think the brochure gives the ground clearance between the two. I have it out in my truck, it's just too damned cold to go out there right now. =)

If nobody has posted it yet, I'll go out and get it later.

Brochure gives the ground clearance stuff for the 4X4's but not the 2WD w/the off road pkg. If I knew thier exact measure points I would compare them.

It does note that with the O/R pkg that it increases .8"

well a XE has 245/75/17 standard for a diameter of 31.47"

a Offroad Package has 285/70/17 for a diameter of 32.71"

a standard SE & LE has 265/70/18 for a diameter of 32.61"

so unless the Rancho shocks (&/or revised spring rates?) make a significant
difference I would think the clearance would be about the same

I am also wondering if the tow package increases the clearance at the rear, because of stiffer springs. Do you 4WD owners wish the Titan had more ground clearance?
