So couple days ago i left my truck at my uncle place and took the g35 to work cause my cuz was going to clean my truck and after i leave i get a call saying there is smoke comeing from under the passanger seat, so when i get back i saw that one of the motor started burning, WHY? the truck was off, and know one was moveing the seat, then when i tried to move the seat the back adjusted but the bottom wouldnt slide back and forth, btw i have LE power seats. So i went to the dealer and asked if this had happened before and they told me to see if i have a freaking nickel stuck under the seat. are you kidding me a freaking nickle the clearance from the floor of the truck to the power seats is like 6 inches how is a nickel going to get stuck up there, so the dealer didnt do crap but say they can take a look at it for a 100bucks and hour and see if they can figure it out, are they stupid??? the motor for the seat doesnt work wats there to figure out. man so now i need a new one, pos. sorry just needed to vent.

Maybe a nickel wedged in the seat control on the side of the seat? They're jerking your chain, hard!

ya maybe i need to punch something, but right now i have to have all the wires disconnected from the seat or it starts to smell like crap from the smoke, and on a side note when i went to the dealer he said the only recall for my truck is the center seatbelt for the back, and i said mine works fine and when going to the beach today buy buddy tries to buckle up and it locks on him. im just not haveing much luck this week so now i have to go back to the dealer monday to get that fixed but really dont like going there they never seem to know crap about the car, and i always seem to know more than there service reps. so im prob even goin to be at OT with these prob, btw super excited for it never been to and OT meet before.

ya there so freaking lazy there, but its the closest dealer to me i might just have to locate another one just to see if there some dealer out there that has a service dept. that knows whats up.
ya i was looking at the mitchell book we have at the shop but couldnt find the part number for the motor, but ima keep looking for it. do you maybe know a price for the motors????
no idea.. ebay maybe? This is the first I've heard of the motor goingout..
Might just have to wait for someones titan to wreck and see if you can buy it off their totaled truck
yea thats what i was thinking as well, would warrenty cover this at all? im out of my warrenty but was thinking what if i swap seats with someone thats still in warrenty and get it fixed like that???? just a thought not sure if its a smart one.

That's an idea almsot as good as renting a Titan at Enterprise and taking your warn tires and swaping them out with the rental Titan
Sounds like your cuz leaned on the button a little to long when he was cleaning your truck. I have ha mine stick becuase of that but I always fixed it and caught it time before I smoked the motor.
Dealeships are in the buisness to make money not give free diagnostics on out or warranty vehicles. That goes for most any auto mechanic garage.
But if your talking about our favorite dealer donw on 50 by the fairground, I agree they are a Pain in the ***. It will take them 4 hours before your vehicle is pulled into the garage for 20 minute repair. I use Bill ray in longwood and request a loaner care. The facility isn't as fancy but the over all service is better IMO.
Stay away from Lake nissan, freaking crooks.

Windermeretitan, what dealer are you going to Reed or Universal? A friend recommended Bill Ray Nissan in Longwood. They replaced my axle seals with no issues or complications and I'm really OCD. They even provided me with a rental car, which was worth the longer drive (In side joke between me and O-fivecc). Give them a shot just make sure you get Mike as your SA.
Btw, Daytona was a blast. OT will be just as fun.... minus the highway sprint we did!!
