My buddy does custom Vehicle Wraps and I'm doing my Titan soon. I'll post some pics when its done. It's alot cheaper and then paint and you can get really creative on the graffix. Let me know your thoughts on this.
There is a company around my area that does wraps. They look good on certain trucks for sure. Mostly camo stuff though.

Gotta be carefull though. If you do just a flat color and that new color is over 70% of the vehicel you must change your registration information to relect the new color. Or else the 5-0 may run your tags, see a black Titan and in the system it's suppost to be red..not good

Why is it not good? There is nothing illegal about repainting your truck, or any car for that matter.

I have been wondering about using a wrap to change the color of a topper
that doesn't match the color of the truck.
Can a wrap be removed with no damage to the original finish?
If it can, it seems to me that it would increase your odds of selling the topper later. Wrap it to match the color of my truck and have the original color still underneath.

I had my vehicle wrap done about a year ago and people ask me all the time who painted it because the company that did it for me wrapped each panel without seems I'll try to post a picture.

Here is a product I came across. Vehicle Wraps|Car Wraps|Vehicle Graphics|Vinyl Graphics Wraps|Car Wrapping They have a wrap that is supposed to improve MPG b/c it has dimples like a golf ball. Its on the right of the page, Fast Skins. Questionable I am thinking of getting my smoke colored tonneau wrapped to match my blizzard cc if the price is right.
how about a black and white winter camo ? that would look sweet, id feel dumb driving it in tampa though lol
