PS: And those are great floor mats Sabre66!
There are TITAN floormats under the paper ones from the dealer. I also have some old clear ones from my Pathfinder on top of that right now because my trucks only 36 hours old, we still have snow on the ground and i haven't had time to get some mud mats yet.

PS - Don't know if you ment to give me the finger or not, but back at you.

Derwud,

I tend to disagree with you on this one. First... Nissan puts out a brochure for Dec 1st sale date and when you go to the dealer to look at the trucks when they arrive, they look exaclty as they do in the brochure. This compounds the matter when you go there and you like what's available and you beleive that's the way they are going to build your truck and all of a sudden sometime in January they change. THE TRUCKS ORIGINALLY CAME IN THIS VERY DARK CHARCOAL TYPE COLOR WITH MATCHING DASH. NOW, THEY ARE ALL BLENDED DARK GRAYS, THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. As far as prototypes go, if this is true, the picture in the brochure being the prototype, then there is no reason to deliver these colors to all the dealers. IT DOES NOTHING BUT CONFUSE THE PUBLIC! The interior colors shouldn't change in the first 3 months.

Hi, how is your truck running? Great I'm sure. They did not change the color to a darker shade. They went to a lighter shade for doors and dash etc...

Thanx, i was getting worried i got a pre-production leftover or something. My doors do have the lighter colored inserts with a blueish tint. I love it.

The truck runs amazingly. So much power and torque. The engine sound it fantastic and the ride is better than in my Pathfinder. Now i'm interested in the gas mileage. I just filled up and changed the odometer so i'll find out later in the week.

Anyone know if it's a 28 gal. fuel tank? I haven't checked my owner's manual yet, just being lazy before heading to work.

the graphite/titanuim is nice but don't in particular like the baby blue lookin inner seat look. im prolly gonna opt for some black seat covers. either way, anythin i get i think i'll like better than the sand/steel

It's not really a baby blue, more like a deep slate blue. Some grey in it as well.

Interior color

First off thanks for the pictures Sabre66. The truck interior does look nice. I do have to agree with Deepwater that I also am very disappointed to learn that I may not get the interior that I thought I had bought with the truck. I really like the darker combination and will be very disappointed if mine does not come with it. I did get an update today on delivery and now it looks like 2-23-04. Before I just had a 2-04 date so it looks pretty firm now. I did go down to the dealership but we have sold all the Titans they have so I could not look inside them. Not to say I will turn my down if my interior is not the darker that I prefer, heck no can’t wait, but like Deepwater I will be upset.

Static,

I hope mine comes in the original darker color too, but looks doubtful at this point. I also received a surprise update today. Don't be surprised if your 2/23/04 date gets bumped up. Mine started at 2/27/04 and went to 2/20/04 on the 24th of January and the latest update as of 2/2/04.... was moved up to 2/17/04 with a rail ship date of 1/27/04. So, yours could come a lot sooner then 2/23/04. I'm looking at about 10 days out or so for mine. I'm waiting with great anticipation as you are also I'm sure.

Static and Deepwater,

When did your orders go into Nissan for your truck's?

I made the order with my dealer Dec. 19th, but they weren't able to put it in with Nissan until Jan. 8th. I'm just curious on your time frames.

My order was placed on the 31st of December. Had an order number pretty quick but just got the VIN, thanks to 70boss, in late January. I hope I get it sooner than the 23rd Deepwater. It was the 5th on the dealers report but he has not been able to give me the updates I requested. Had to look to 70boss for help. Keep me updated on the truck and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get the darker interior!!

Static,

The member Skiphess, in the thread "pictures of the interior" by Titan21 claims that he purchased his Titan on 12/24/03 and it has tit/graph interior. Maybe we can get him to post some pics and see if it's the original color scheme. Sounds like he has the dark doors with the light gray door handles etc...

I took delivery on 12/24/03 and I have the Titanium/Graphite SE interior. I will take a couple of pics tomorrow and post. The dash color is a dark charcoal along with the door panels and hand pulls with lighter fabric inserts on the door panels and seat centers. The A pillars, door sills and kick panels are a light grey that match the headliner and overhead console BUT the doors and dash are DARK. Will post tomorrow with any luck.
