I noticed that my lockbox had water in it today from all the snow up here.. Has anyone else noticed this? I also noticed on snow/ice every now and then during a turn my B-LSD light come on but now it don't.

All we have had is a lil rain here...haven't had ur problem.

I remember the salesman telling me that Nissan says the lock box is not waterproof when I bought my Titan. However, the lock box on my truck has stayed dry so far.

Don't have my truck yet, its about 500 miles away, however on the brochure I see that they say " with Titan's available,lockable,climate-resistant bedside storage" end of quote.

I read in a Nissan publication somewhere (I can't remember where) that the box is water resistant, not waterproof, therefor you must remove items from the box if you submerge it while launching a boat.

If you are in water deep enough to get the box under water when launching a boat, YOU HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS! The exhaust system will be under water, the axel, breaks, suspension as well as the whole trailer, hitchball and all.

Is your trailer for a sailboat?

I used to launch a Leisure 17 which had twin keels. I had an extender that pulled way out so I could push that trailer way into the water and float it off without getting the tires wet. I have seen too many rear wheel drive trucks spin the tires and slide backwards into the drink. Another scheme is to have the spare tire on a bearing, then hook up a line from the ball to the trailer and ease it down into the water. That was the scheme for Coronado 25 sailboats that were dry sailed. Al in Benson whose boat is no longer trailable.

Mine also came on when I was spinning out going up hill. I'm glad it did because if it didn't the back end would have been fishtailing! I'm sure you know, but that is the Back-Limited Slip Differential light.
