Question Electric Motor Noise?

Has anyone heard a noise that sounds like an electric motor after the engine is cut off. My wife has pointed out to me that there is a sound about five minutes after you cut the engine off. I stayed in the truck myself for a while after I turned the engine off and heard this sound. It sounds similar to the motor in the electric seats. It's not bothering me or anything. I'm just curious about what it is.

Probably the fuel pump.

It does it on my 95 Nissan pickup and my 300z as well.

I've heard this too.
My guess is that it's a motor that controls the heat/ac outputs. Mabye it uses vaccum, and it bleeds down to a point, then releases, then you hear the 'motor' sound.

When I boughy my Titan, the service manager mentioned the Titan had
liquid filled motor mounts and sometimes you might hear low noise when
you turn off the engine. Apparently the motor mounts fill and drain as
the engine is turned on/off. Just relaying what he said..........
