Insurance Rates

I just got off the phone with my agent, and cannot believe how cheep the rate is on the Titan.

My 95 XE V6 Hardbody was running $55mth (0 deductable )
The 04 SE KK Titan is going to be $72mth (0 decuctable )

How is everyone else doing on rates?

I went from a 98 Ranger XLT 4.0 to the Titan and my insurance only went up $100 a year. I did get a big break because I put LoJack on the Titan..

My Titan wil cost me about $47 a year more than my 2002 Frontier
Crew Cab was. Let's see 170 Hp vs. 305 Hp. Only about 40 cents a horse extra.

looks like they are considering this a safe vehicle as the rates are being held low.

I currently pay 450 per year for a 1996 Toyota T100 and the Titan will cost me 1200 per year when I purchase it. From what I understand, Rhode Island has some of the higher rates in the country. And my insurance rep told me that I scored at the top of the chart as far as being low risk. I can't imagine the price of someone who is high risk....

Yeti, you should see the MA rates! They are a governmental controled insurance state. You pay the same in Boston as you do in the Berkshires. I am now paying in 1 year what I would pay in 3 months when I lived in MA.

I have felt your pain...
