Extended Warranty

I have an '04 SE Titan that I've had for about 3 years now. It is approaching 100k and I've been considering adding an extended warranty. I found the Nissan Extended Warranty site. I've began the process of requesting a quote online. I am not sure if my truck will qualify if their are age restrictions or mileage restrictions.

The main question is has anyone added the extended warranty from Nissan or another company after purchase or after the factory warranty expired? What has you experience been like? What other companies have people gone through? How much money has having the warranty saved you?

I got a quote for a Nissan extended warranty from some Nissan dealer that sells them at a discount. To extend the factory warranty to 80 or 84k miles the price was $2100.

I said no thanks. I thought that was crazy high for 20k more thousand miles. I'll just put a True Trac in at 60K and call it good and save a thousand dollars in the process.

On my old chevy I had an extended warranty through a company called Warranty Direct. It was cheaper than the one through GM. It might be worth checking out.
