Chrome grill vs painted grill

The grill on my Titan LE CC 4WD is painted body color......is this an LE thing only or what? I like the painted grill better but I have seen other pics of LE's with chrome? So what gives, I was just curious?

That's unusual. Everything I've seen and have been told about the Titan leads me to believe that only the XE came with the painted grill. The SE and LE should have the chrome grill.

Congrats on the new truck Jake. That sounds unusual, but why don't you post some pic's if you can so we can take a look.

I'll bet that someone who bought a base model made the chrome grill a deal breaker. They probably stole yours and hoped that you wouldn't notice. My bed rails were stolen when I bought my LE. If you want chrome (I like it) I would complain to your salesman. Let the stealing continue..

Now that you guys mention it, i remember seeing the Nissan Titan sales literature with the color keyed grill only on the XE......I personally like the colored grill so I am definately happy with it........the truck had only been on the lot for 4 days so I doubt they "switched it " with an XE.....I suspect Nissan screwed up on the assembly line and put the wrong grill on my truck......I will have to get my scanner with my computer and take some pics for you guys.....I am ignorant when it comes to posting pics so I dont know??? I guess I definately have a unique truck........heck I would have been happy if the bumpers and all would have been body colored!
