2WD w/ Off Road Pkg

Hey has anybody with a 2wd w/ the off road package experienced any time in soft sand? I know all the 4x4 models have the Active Brake Limited Slip, but does the 2wd model have the ABLS? If so, how did it perform?

The 2wd has the ABLS also...I haven't had it in soft sand yet, but I did have it in some snow yesterday and everything was just fine.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I won't see too much snow in FL. I am wanting to find out how the 2wd will perform in soft sand before I make my decision on a 4x4. If it will hold its own with 2wd, I could save almost $3000. Thanks again. This has to be the most informative group out there.

Uhhh yeah....2wd and off-Road....ever heard of a Pre-Runner?

Were not talking 'climbing rocks and trees' here. We are talking light sand and hardpack erroded area kind of driving.

Where i live i do most of my off-roading in 2wd. 4wd is kinda my saftey if i get stuck. Of course I have to use the 4wd for beach driving though.
