Hehe...durocab, you know we 'woodsy' types are early risers, even after hunting season...I have to be at work by 6:30, so I always check out Aldeer.com and TitanTalk while zapping oatmeal and chugging Dew...I'm often tempted to leave home early and make for a very long round about way to work, but with the Titan, I might just keep going...and I'm not the type to call in sick at 85 MPH!

You better get someone's permission to go to the rally and thank them for that Titan at such an early age!

Same thought occurred to me on my way to work at 5:30 AM. Was wondering how big we were gonna be when this thing happens with all the new members joining everyday? I'm finally starting to see some Titans here and there.

Question Official Date yet?

Has anyone set an official date and time for the rally? Did anyone determine if we can get a tour of the plant or not? I would love to try and make it? For you Texas guys, how far/hours is it from Houston?

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm very glad to see the Rally topic resurface yet again...I'm still pumped for it, of course...think it would be so cool I was hoping a Nissan Rep. would respond to our idea...surely SOMEONE at Nissan Corp. monitors our forum...we provide such great daily feedback! In fact on my survey thingy from Nissan Corp. I wrote about TitanTalk and suggested they would greatly benefit from our feedback...if anyone on the forum can get in touch with Nissan about the proposed rally, hopefully it will come about!

Just a question. Has anyone said they will check with Nissan to see if we can coordinate a tour? What about some feedback for when would be good time?

Let's Get This Started

Being in college I probably got a little bit more free time than all you working stiffs. That being the case I'm willing to atleast take the preliminary lead on getting this thing organized. Since everyone is asking for a date I'll go ahead and suggest one and everyone can let me know what they think. We're gonna need obviously some time for organization and coordination with Nissan and any dealerships that want to get involved. How about August 13-15. It is the second weekend in August, Friday through Sunday. What does everyone think?
Second, what is going to make this thing a success is participation, on our part, on the part of Nissan, on the part of dealerships, as well as Canton, MS. I'll be sending an email to the Canton tourism agency later tonight to raise the subject, so there's that. I would suggest everyone get in touch with their dealerships and bring up the subject. See if they would be interested in participating in any way shape or form. Any dealerships that are on this forum let us know what you think. Are there any aftermarket companies that are interested in sponsoring? If so, please contact me. Does anyone have any contacts at Nissan? Not to be a ****, but no mother's, second cousin's, friend's neighbor please. We need something reliable. If anyone does, please contact me. That leaves us. What is going to bring Nissan and all the freebies to the event is a large participation by Titan owners. So, if anyone can say that they are interested and can tentatively committ to August 13-15, please email or PM me with some sort of contact info and I will start a list. If we can go to Nissan at the end of the week and say, we've already got 200 people committed after 3 days hopefully that sort of thing will catch their attention.
Now, I love my Titan and everybody here is cool and all, but I don't have 40 hours a week to committ to this. What I would like is if people could volunteer as regional reps to help get everyone organized and to spread the word. For now, all we probably need is one person per state.
So....let's get this thing started and make for an awesome rally that everyone will be jealous of, as well as our Titans.
