Truck sales down. Titan partly to blame.
There is an interesting article in today's Detroit Free Press about an analyst lowering his expectations on pickup and SUV sales this year. It confirms my observation that there are lots of pickups and SUVs on dealers' lots in my area which haven't moved in a long time. The analyst cites the Titan as one of the reasons sales are below expectations.

The rapidly rising price of gasoline will probably slow down sales of the bigger pickups and SUVs also. When regular costs above $2 a gallon, it gets peoples attention. Because of this, I am expecting to see big rebates on these vehicles (including the Titan) a few months from now.
