Fuel-efficient vehicles only

Thought yall might get a laugh out of this. Saw these "reserved" parking spots at Best Buy, so I had to park there and take a picture...I'm a rebel

Oh, it's real alright...that's why it was so funny. Here are some quotes I found online about these new "fuel-efficient only" spots:

"We want to reward those folks who already drive electric-powered vehicles with the most convenient parking spaces and charge stations"

"We hope these measures will encourage others to consider purchasing these environment-friendly vehicles"

McDonalds and Best Buy are doing these preferred parking spots..

Re: Fuel-efficient vehicles only

I would rather see a "skinny people only" sign. Make the obese, lazy people park deep so they can get some exercise and stop wasting our tax money on medical bills.

Would the Escalade Hybrid qualify? It is more fuel efficient than the regular Escalade.

Re: Fuel-efficient vehicles only

What is "fuel efficient" really?? My truck is more fuel efficient than an H1, and that makes my truck fuel efficient so I can park there...

That's how I feel. Hell, because I use less gas in a week compared to some that use their 4 bangers as long commuters and on-the-job cars, mine is really efficient. A tank lasts me 8-12 days, depending on work sched and errands I have to run.

I'm not sure they can enforce them, really. It's not like the handicapped spots which are protected under the disability law.

It's more like "smug" from South Park.
