I also have not gone over 2000 rpm and keep it around 65 on the freeway. My driving is a combination of city and freeway, leaning towards more freeway driving. I have already done an oil change at 1000 miles. Any ideas?
Drove ~1800 miles on a big road trip right after I bought my 2wd CrewCab. Drove 70-90, and averaged 16.85, Worst was ~15.5, and the best was 17.75. Several were over 17

Came off a 600 mile trip last weekend. I varied the speed on the engine because it only had 300 miles on it when I left. I would alter the speed every ten minutes. Start 70 then 60 then 65 then 55 then 65 then 60 then 70. Then do it all over again. First tank average MPG 14.53 second tank, average 17.49, third tank ...........get this..........22.43 mpg. I was stunned. Even though I know I wont always get that I am more than impressed with this truck.

got to pay to play: 9 mpg in city/hill driving

since we've been driving the new honda element mini-suv (sleeps two adult and a dog, comfortably) on camping trip, I've only been driving the Titan around the city (50% hills). whoa!...gets barely 9 MPG on city/hill driving: granted, that i'm an aggresive "lead foot" driver and I am having loads of fun driving it.
