Synthetic Oil?

Ready for my first oil change. Does anyone know if it is OK to use
synthetic oils such as Mobil 1 in the Titans. I really could not find a reference in the owners manual.

The owner's manual specifically recommends 5W30 mineral oil.

Someone here called a service tech at nissanusa and they said synth is fine.

A lot of oils labeled synthetic, from what I hear, are mineral based.. this is because of the laxed rules on what can be called synthetic.

Anyone have an owners manual for an early 90s nissan vehical (or even later?). id be curious if it says the same thing specifically about using mineral oil. Maybe they just copy it over.

I have been racing my 911 using only Mobil 1 and it never failed me is such extreme conditions especially in the Texas summer heat... I can't imagine why it would be not good for a truck that goes through a lot of thermal stress especially when towing.
BTW I also use Mobil 1 on all my cars. In my wife's bimmer I switched to Mobil 1 and no more lifter noise that I used to have at start up with the generic BWM oils...
Just my '02
