Compass heading needs to be set

Check the Zone of the mirror compass. The appear to be set for MS and not for your location.

Hold the compass button down for 8+ seconds, first it will flash for F/C tempature, then you will get a number flashing. Look up in your manual for your correct number. This will correct for deviation errors with the compass. My GPS and Compass did not match now they do.

It seems to me that the dealers aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing. Dealers have a checksheet that they are required by Nissan to mark off that they've set the compass, clock, tire pressure , etc. There are dozens of other things on the list they are supposed to check off and give the buyer a carbon copy. The purpose of the list, of course, is to make sure nothing gets overlooked. If they don't even use the list, everything seems to get overlooked.

Mine was set by the prep guys. I had to do the circle the wagons trick to 'orient' it.
