I finally got around to installing an IPCW (In Pro Car Wear) led light bar, and I must say I am pretty happy with it. I blacked out my tailights last weekend and they turned out sick, just a little to dark. So I added the light bar to help with the brake lights. If interested, I can do a write up on how to install light as well as blacking out tailights with VHT spray tint. Let me know what you guys think!

I purchased the IPCW LED light bar at autoanything.com for $60.00 plus another $13 for shipping. I was eager to get it so I paid for rush shipping. I think the website is offering free shipping right now. IPCW makes two options for this light bar, 49'' and 60''. I would recommend the 60'', just looks better. Also, IPCW uses LED lights made by Phillips.
I want to see the write up as well, because I don't see how you can mount the thing without covering the spare tire port for the tool. I know I could just put my spare in the back of the truck.

Blackedout, now it begins. I installed a line of fire LED bar then I thought, boy wouldn't some LED tails look good, so on went eagle eyes, then the third brake light was out of place so, back to ebay. Now I'm a wackered out.
I must say I really like the way it looks though.

The line of fire come on a wider black plastic housing. All I did was notch it out for the spare tire port.
Ok, I will try to be as specific as possible but straight to the point.
1) Remove tailgate by unclipping support cables on each side of the gate and lifting up on the gate. *First picture attachment
2) Prepare the surface by using Windex or alcohol to clean off any dirt or build up.
3) Position the light bar directly above the rear bumper, as close to the spare tire port has possible. (Make sure the light bar is both level and center between the taillights, running parallel with the tailgate. (The IPCW light bar comes with 3m tape, which is pretty strong, however I decided to put in a couple of screws just in case.)
*Because of the lip that hangs down on the tailgate, the led barely fits between the end of the lip and the top portion of the bumper. If you go to high, you will not be able to see the led bar.
4) Once level and center, press 3m tape down at desired position.
5) Part of the plastic backing on the light bar covers the spare tire port, so take a dremel tool and cut down the plastic until the port is accessible. There is no wiring in the plastic backing, so do not worry about ruining the light bar. Just make sure you do not come close to the plastic casing, that holds the led lights.
Please note, there is about 1 inch of clearance between the lip and the rear bumper. If you go to high you can't see the led light bar, however if you don't go low enough you will cover to much of the spare tire port.
6) Now you can start to wire the led light bar. IMO its easier to have the wires connect near the rear of the trailer connection, however if you look near the driver side taillight, you can hard wire near that as well. The connector is a 4-pin connect with the furthest left pin being the ground, next being running lights, third being left turn signal/brake lights, and last being right turn signal/brake lights. Below is the exact configuration for the connection from LED light bar hardwire to the truck.
From Light bar: to Truck wiring:
Solid White wire for reverse lights: connect to: Yellow wire with Red trace *enables reverse lights.
Ground black wire with white trace: connect to: Solid Black wire for ground connection
Running Lights: connect to: Solid Red wire
Left turn signal / Brake light: connect to: Green wire with Black trace *LED light bar uses the wire as a duplicate function, both turn signal and brake.
Right turn signal / Brake light: connect to: Yellow wire with Black trace *LED light bar uses the wire as a duplicate function, both turn signal and brake.
7) Once connected test each function to ensure accuracy. Clean up wires by placing them back in the electrical case under the truck.
Optional: 8) There are small screws holding the plastic backing and 3m tape together, so I removed those screws and replaced them with self tapping screws. Because there is nothing behind the metal, this is a safe and clean way to secure the light bar.
Last step is to enjoy you new light bar!
I also attached pictures to help visually describe the write-up.
