Question Power Rear Window Retrofit

I bought my Titan used, searched for almost three months, and finally came across one with every package I desired, in an acceptable color, and for a reasonable price. At the time, I saw no need for a power roll-down rear window, and I wound up with a rear slider. But I've since gotten a dog, and now know what power roll-down rear windows are for. They are for stupid people like me who can never remember to open the slider when putting the dog in the truck. I wind up with his head perched on my shoulder to stick his nose out the window. Now this is not a problem worth getting a new truck for, especially when I've got almost $5K in extras on it. But it might be worth trying to retrofit it, especially if I were to come across a truck being parted. Anyone done this, or looked into it? Where does the operator button go? Is that the reason for the blank button spot next to the tow mode button in the center console? Thanks in advance, and sorry if there's a thread out there, I did quite a few searches.

Re: Power Rear Window Retrofit

The KC has the sliding rear window, the CC has the power rear window. Haven't heard of anyone retrofitting a sliding window into a KC.

Re: Power Rear Window Retrofit

I just tell tell my self that "REAL" trucks have -sliding- rear windows, not wussy power ones.

I actually believed that until the weather got nicer and I cruised around with the windows down and would've liked to be able to open the rear one without stopping.

Re: Power Rear Window Retrofit

the whole rear wall of the cab is different to house the power window in the CC. there are however kits to make your slider power. it will just slide sideways like it does now, instead of down.
