If your talking about that plastic sheeting that protects againsty stone pecks and chips- it's not cheap but $800 seems a bit steep. Look at other posts quite a few people are having this done and prices vary.

If your talking about an applied wax or polymer paint coating - it's called pure dealer profit.

I checked out perma-plate and it is indeed voodoo juice...save your money and put it into Zaino or a carnuba based wax.

Regarding paint protection film, I highly recommend it, especially considering the vast front end of the Titan. I have used it on three cars and my motorcycle and have been very satisfied. $800 is not that steep for a well installed job. I expect my total will end up around $1000. I will forward some pics and final price next week if you are interested.

I looked into the process here in Atlanta, It is some kind of chemical that bonds with the paint. (super wax) good for 6 years. Several member in my local BMW club have had it applied. I called the guy and he stated he would do my TITAN for $350.00. an extra $50 for the wheels.
You can read about it on their website.
