My dealer sells em that way. Although I would have put a lift on it anyway, I test-drove one at a dealership and was sold. I think I could save some money buyin a lift outside of the dealership, but sellin em like that wouldn't be a bad idea!

4x2 and a KC. Yes that was the price including labor, it was a good deal. Yes i have 35's. That is the biggest size that you can fit under the lift.

Did you try 37s? Or were you not even interested in them?

Well my tires in the front barely rub but that is because i have 17x10 wheels, but the system goes better with 17x8. It says on a couple of websites that it is designed to fit 35"s. I doubt 37s would fit at all.

Oh yeah, almost forgot...is it possible to have a level lift with the CTS kit? Or will the front be higher than the back all the time? Thanks

I'm wondering the same thing. Lift kits as high as 8" usually level trucks out. You're truck looks good, but it looks like you need 37's. The wheel wells seem a bit too big, kinda empty. You really rub w/35s? Could probably take a sawzall to the wells and shave em down a little, make 37s fit. Maybe a 2 or 3" body lift? Any more lift might make 37's look too small though.

I have a 1 inch spacer due to the wide rims. I would never get a body lift, had one before on old truck and hated it. I'm pretty sure the wheel well in the front has a little bigger space in the back on most cst lifts, ask Gero, i'm not sure. I have yet to see your nice truck sarka, but make sure you honk if you see me.

sorry about not replying sooner --answers trojandan

How much was the lift, and how much did it cost to install?

first of all, my dealer wanted $8000 more for a lifted titan... i test drove it and did the lift myself.

the lift was $1995.95 ... $2600 installed by SoCal Supertrucks special deal pm me for details if you're doing it in socal-- I think that they ask for $3200 if you call them today)

how much did the wheels and tires cost you? $850

315/70/17 tire with 8" wide wheels with 5" of backspacing

centerline stingray III's were $100 each
BFG AT 315/70/17 were $250 each at costco, but I can get a set of 4 for $400 (pm me when you're ready to buy tires) it was $50 to mount/balance them. (oh and $20 for wheel locks)

about the lift
The kit achieves 8" of lift using a solid one piece subframe that provides a strong foundation for the lift kit and the truck. The kit also utilizes new 1/4" steel to construct the new lift spindles that are laser cut for precision, and fully mig welded for additional strength. Also included are a set of replacement upper control arms with integrated 1" uni-balls to replace the weaker factory ball joints, and new extended front brake lines.
To lift the rear the kit uses a new 4" block and u-bolt kit. .

i hope that answers your questions.

Thanks for the in-depth answers Gero. Sounds like the lift kit covers everything, even brake lines (are the new brake lines steel?). I'll definitely pm you in a few months, when I'm ready to lift. My dealer wanted around $3500 for the lift, another $2500 for wheels and tires, and other costs for teh banks and grille they put on. Hope you're still around in Nov. or Dec!

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago. They got back to me late last week saying that a kit for the 4x4 should be out in several weeks (for CC and KC). I think that means that it'll eventually be out by July or August at the latest, cause usually they are later than they say they'll be.
