There's another kind of dash kit out now called Hydro-graphics, where it's not a sticker, it's a film that wraps around the entire piece, like in a Denali or high-end vehicle. The only problem is you have to send you factory parts to the company, but it looks great after they're done. They have everything from Brushed Aluminum to Wood to even Marble, and you can put any color in it as well, so if you want red carbon fiber or blue, they can do it. Just my two cents........

Just to let you guys know, Jason from ******* Industries is a great guy and sells great quality items for a good price. I have bought from him in the past for my Toyota 4Runner and will continue to buy from him in the future. I am very meticulous about my vehicles and only put accessories on it that look good or that work well. The products Jason sells are the best and meet my high standards. It is his kit that StvMLNJ installed and looks so good.

Go to www.*******industries.com]www.*******industries.com[/url] ,which is Jason's company's website, to find this woodgrain kit and other accessories.

I really think the woodgrain really improves the look of the interior. Nice!

The *******industries.com kit instructions say pre-clean with 3m solvent 70, which is water based:

http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/e...er/output_html

Since that stuff sells for $26 per gallon at the 3M web site, I wonder if anyone has actually ever tried it?

Hey, bestatchess, did you install the woodgrain yet? If so, how'd it turn out?

Another source for wood trim kits is www.woodtrim.com. I purchased and installed kits from these folks for a Pathfinder and a Frontier. They have real wood, carbon fiber and synthetic wood kits.

I just emailed these guys for others information--as I already have a kit installed

they emailed me this link

http://www.woodtrim.com/catalog_detail.cfm?prod=7054

I will say that I cant compare the quality without seeing it but from the pic it appears that you not only get more pieces, but these pieces cover more area on places like the vents and the center console (which is the only compaint I have about my kit), for 245 see the attached pic

Yeah... I did not mind paying the high price if I could have got what I had payed for and instead of 3 weeks it took a month and a half to get my dash back.

Re: Wood Dash Kit Anyone ???

Here's a good thread with some pics of the kits.

New Blonde Wood Trim

You can put as much or as little as you want in there. Too much may be overdoing it, IMO, but to each his own. Some do look nice!

I actually agree with this post in that thread.
