Wow, talk about poor QC. You would think that they could see an orange in the headlights? How did it get in there in the first place? Don't tel me they are using the headlights as some sort of tray table in the cafeteria.

Just trying to welcome you with a big smile. Seriously, I have never heard of any orange(s) in the headlights.

I am wondering if you are refering to the directional signal lamps in the head light assembly. I do not beleive it is legal to remove them. The directional / clearance markers are required to be yellow. Please check with the state and / or federal DOT requirements for that.

If I am refering to the wrong part please let me know.

Yes, I think that's what I'm talking about.... and it probablay is illegal.

I have removed them from my car though and no problems.

It just looks so much better without the orange.......

Take out your turn signals? Aren't you going to get clobbered in an intersection?

no no no.....All you do is take out the orange reflectors and put in orange bulbs. you still have turn signals...it's just not a large glaring piece of orange plastic making the front of the truck ugly.....

I actually did that with my 1997 camaro SS I just recently sold. Took out the turn signal assembly, replaced it with a silver/clear one AND actually did not put the orange bulb back in, just the clear bulb. Had no problems for the 6 or 7 months it was like that. It did look pretty sweet by the way. However, it isn't something I would care to do to a truck.....

Is this question for real? Sounds kinda fishy- a person with the user name "citrusgirl" having problems with orange in the headlights. Maybe change your user name to "brightlightgirl" and see if that fixes things.

I took it out of my 01 civic. Had to heat the seal and pry the clear glass away and remove the orange. they snap right out. I'm gonna do it soon.

Just to add my smart a$$ comments... if the removal of the orange from the headlights doesn't work... are you protected by any lemon laws?

You could always try pouring some Simple Green into the light housing and see if the resulting color is more to your liking.

dont quite know why everone is making this out ot be soo bad? He is talking about clear corners, which are pretty popular. They probably wont make these kits for awhile for a truck as they really arent selling that many titans. I would'nt try the prying method--I did that to and old mustang I had, and ended up having to buy another headlamp fixture
