Ahhhh HA! Got the emblem mounted :-)

OK,

Went out in the garage because I just can't let anything be 'not finished'.

Ended up mounting the emblem by removing the center portion of the sticky tape on the back. There is revealed 2 'fins' pointing towards you. Drilled a hole in each one straight accross from each other. Broke off the two guiding mounts. Ran a Zip Tie through the rear holes the guiding mounts fit into and over and through the two holes drilled into the emblem and back out the other way. Cinched it up and here are the results:

I might wanna buy that grille Chris, but is there any way you could email me some detailed instructions on how to put the emblem back on?? I am not exactly proficient in doing stuff like that. I do have a friend who could probably help me, but i would have to be "walked" through it.....

Again, it looks wicked tight, Chris! I just ordered mine from Ebay as well. Great deal i must add!! Couldn't believe being able to buy that grille (and all 4 pieces) for just $159...that rocks! Was about to order it from their official site (Mrgrille.com) and then the guy told me to go to Ebay and it was $159. I was like heck yeah!! I get pics up as soon as its on....

I would put one of those on mine except that the strobes in my grill would then be useless. I wonder how hard would it be to cut a small rectangle out of each where the strobes are?

RR,

It wouldn't be too difficult to cut out a couple of rectangles if you have the right stuff to cut aluminum. I don't or I would have just cut the 'emblem' pattern out of the grill instead of removing and re-attaching it 'outside' so to speak.

Chris

I put mine back on the same way but only I used 3m double stick moulding tape. It is real strong. Mine only took about 2 mins.
