Getting the Invinca-guard installed next week. I will post pictures when complete.
I did not get package #3, just 1 and 2.
I would definitely like to see it when its complete....

I am having the hood and fender kit installed Monday. Pictures will follow. Fortunately I was able to work out a deal with the guy doing mine and I am paying ONLY $150 for the kit and installation.
Anyone in the Chicago area interested in this deal, let me know and I will hook you up with the installer. He comes to your house to do the installation.
This is the link to the manufacturer's site, not the guy doing my work.

Patience grasshopper, Monday is only a few days away. I will post losts of pictures after it is done. Of course since it is 'supposed to be invisible' I am not sure how much you will see in photos. I will try to get some real good close-ups. The guy doing the work for me is going to be using my photos on his website.
I used the Invinca-Shield on my wife's Satin White Maxima. The installer warned us that white was the hardest color to make it un-noticeable. You cannot see it except for up close. This is thick stuff. It takes 4-6 hrs to apply and runs in the $700 - 800 range. It it about 1/32 of an inch thick at least. You will get wax lines, which have to be cleaned off when you detail the truck, but it stops the chips!

"Invisible" has alot to do with the paint color. If by chance your vehicle is a darker color the line between the protected and unprotected is much more visible. I would also like to see a pic of the finished product. Additionally I would also like to see it after you wax the truck to see if the edge retains any wax.
It is now installed. It took 5 1/2 hours for the installer to complete the job. He said he had never seen so many pieces for any 1 vehicle. EVERYTHING on the front of the vehicle is covered. I am waiting for more pollen to build up on the car so that you can see it. (Pollen does not stick to it!) If it was not for the pollen, You cannot see it until you are on top of it.

How much and who did you get to install it? Did they come to you or did you have to leave it with them?

installed it, and it was 770. 5 year guarentee. It is great! bugs and pollen do not stick to it. The rest of my truck is yellow, that area is the normal deep water! I will try to get pictures this weekend, getting my eyes upgraded on friday.
You would have to repaint the entire front of the truck, and replace the chrome on the top and the bottom grills, and replace the side bumpers, and side quarter panels.
Just the repaint would cost over 3K. Besides if you have bugs like we do, the fact that they come off and you do not scratch the clear coat scrubbing them pays for itself. I spend almost 1/2 hr cleaning bugs off mine on Sunday before getting the shield installed. My wife's car which has the shield was worse off than mine, and took 5 min to clean. Everything just wipes right off.
I had to replace the grill and paint the hood on my last truck twice in 5 years. It cost one HE&& of a lot more than this one time install.

Can't take a joke eh? I was just kidding, but that does seem quite pricey.
Sorry, I did not see the thought you were serious. Truth be told, yes it is expensive, but it did take them 5 hours to install. That is a lot of labor dollars.

Yes, I can imagine. I have experienced those Virginia bugs on a motorcycle.
