Anyone Have A Picture Of A Titan With A Topper Yet?

I've got an ARE Z-series on order. The mold was supposed to be done this week. I waiting on pins and needles for the phone call telling me its in. I'll post up a pic as soon as I get it.

ARE Z series on order also. I have also ordered the E&G grill (upper and lower) and the www.*******industries.com wood dash kit and a set of 4 weatherflectors. When I get all of this stuff installed I will take some pix.

There are some pix posted on this forum of a Titan with an ARE lid.

Are toppers such as this negotiable like automotive purchases? I had a quote of $1700 for the base ARE Z series for the Titan, plus options in Dallas, Tx. I'd like to find a more reasonable price.

Will the remote locks in topper work with your current Nissan FOB or do you have to carry another remote for the rear?

My understanding is that the topper gets wired into the standard door lock wiring so your Nissan FOB locks/unlocks everything.

If you locate a dealer through the www.4are.com website, you can print out a coupon for a free upgrade. The free interior upgrade (fold down tilt front window, coat hangar, light) is posted now for the Z series through dealers in my area. Free keyless entry is posted for the LSII tonneau lid.

You can also contact A.R.E. and request MSRP.

For the Keyless entry, an actuator is installed on the lock which will allow the keyless entry to work with your truck's keyfob. When the driver's door locks/unlocks, so does the A.R.E. lock.

A fully loaded Z-series for a Titan CC runs $1475 - $1600 in my area. There aren't many dealers, but the prices were all close.

The keyless lock works off your truck's locks. I had a Z series on my '01 Tundra. It's a good looking top and a high quality top. The keyless thing rocks when you have your hands full. ARE used to also offer a rear wiper on the Z series, which I got on the Tundra. Even had a washer fluid reservoir which was very helpful in the mud. I hear they don't offer the wiper any more.
