Aftermarket Navigation

After seeing this... My alternate "factory" navigation solution I knew that I had to the same thing.
The install wasn't to bad but it's a fairly spendy mod. There's no way to turn it on or off once it's installed so I wired in a switch so I could turn it off without turning the ignition off. You can see the switch next to the emergency flasher switch.

I bought this YOUR NISSAN PARTS.COM and this Amazon.com: Magellan RoadMate 1700 7-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator: Electronics Then just put them together and installed. Look around for the nav unit they can be had cheaper then what I posted. I actually got mine the day after Thanksgiving for $179.00

Here's some specs on the alpine head unit

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - IVA-W505

I'll get a pic for you as soon as I get home. It's not pretty if you look at it from the top. The 2 pieces don't mate up, I cut the radio bezel a little "tall" so it looked clean from everywhere but looking straight down at the seam.
