Billet grille installed......

Finally got it done late last night with the help of some friends. It looks very good, and I am very happy with the look. Here's a couple pics of the new grille. Would have had more, but my sisters dadgum digital camera folder only had enough room for 2 more shots......

Howie it looks great!

Is that the e-bay grill or another one?

Looking good Howie. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. Unfortunately, I realized that I had the wrong address on PayPal. I shot mr grill an email, hopefully it'll get straightened out before they ship it out.

Has anyone on the East Coast ordered one of these yet? I'd like to know how long it took to ship.

As far as him getting it out...mine was out of his place next business day after I won and paid for the auction.

If he ships it for you tommorow, you should have it in hand hopefully by the weekend for install :-)

Chris

Well I am on the East Coast. I ordered it on the the 13th and would have gotten by that Friday, but because of some type of backorder and having to construct more grilles, it didn't end up shipping until the following Monday (the 19th). But I got it the following Friday, the 23rd. It actually arrived here in Jacksonville on Thursday, delivered to my door on Friday.....

Sorry bout that Howie, I just now noticed that you were from Jacksonville. Well I'm looking forward to getting this on the truck by this weekend. I'll call Mr. Grill tomorrow when they open to insure they got the corrected address. My 1,000 mile trip this weekend convinced me that I need some protection over the lower bumper opening. The entire thing was plastered with bugs, some of which dented the radiator fins. Oh who am I kidding, it looks badass.

Well the grill has been ordered. I spoke with someone at Mr. Grill this morning to make sure they had the right address, and he told me it should be shipped within 3 days. I assume they need to make some new ones since it's not shipping immediately.

Looked good for about four minutes--now I am out 150 bucks like that.

I don't know how you did that...I put AT LEAST 4 zip ties on each grille piece. I put extra zip ties on the top center and bottom bumper grille pieces. And of course I pulled each zip tie as hard tight as it could go. I have had no problems, the grille doesn't even move anywhere. You just have to make sure to use plenty of zip ties, I even went to Wal Mart and bought a 30 pack for like $1.00 to make sure hehe. But sorry about the grille, I am not sure if you can get a replacement on that or not....

with some superglue and alcohol wipes, the logo was installed. I had to use a 3/8 drill to trim down the back of the logo where the screws go. But hey, it looks great
