find a local shop that does decals and ask them that way you know that you are getting advice from someone who does this type of thing daily. I'm not saying that no one on this board doesn't know what they are doing. I'm just saying that personally I like to talk to someone face to face.
I've installed scores of decals on my race car. Hands-down best method is the wet application method. Mix a drop of dawn with water in a squirt bottle. Wet down the area you'll apply the decal on. Remove the backing paper from the decal and wet the sticky side of decal from the spray bottle. Place the decal where you want it on the truck. Once you're happy with the location use a credit-card/squeegee (sp) and work from the center of the decal to the edges forcing the water out. When you're done wipe the excess water off and leave the decal to dry. In the sun is best. If it's taking too long, hairdryer works too.

I agree with the above idea....I used that method for the decals on my RC planes.
My favorite method is get your truck good and clean, a good handwashing is best. Then put a couple of coats of wax on her. Get your stickers and peel off all of the backing, throw the backing away in an appropriate trash canister. Now pay attention because this is by far the most important couple of steps...Take the sticker, wad it up into a tight little ball and then toss it into the trash recepticle. Repeat on all the remaining stickers and you are done. You now have a perfectly beautiful truck with the stickers in the appropriate place (the trash). Sorry...not a fan of stickers.
Check out www.decaldriveway.com. They have a big selection of decals,
including lots of 4x4's for those who don't like the ones on their Titan, or
want to add some. They also have an installation guide for applying them.
Colin's application method is the one they recommend. They even include
the squeegee with an order.

RC Planes eh? what kind do you fly? I was heavy into the RC combat last year. Been flying for 20 years.
I've been flying on and off for a couple years. Still flying my Kadet LT40 and another Sig midwing plane. Im thinking of getting a 60 size Uproar....those seem really fun to fly!

Colins method is dead on. This is exactly how you should apply them. Also, FYI...this is the same methode for doing window tint. Do NOT use too much soap though...this is where some people mess it up (Gets cloudy underneath after drying).
