Do you have a hard cover? I think I remember a post about a LSE II hard cover. Can someone direct me to that post?

I can't understand why the owners of that website would only have 3 pictures of that cover... Pictures sell product, and they've got 3 crappy, low quality, grainy pictures...

Thanks NITEBLITZ. That's the post I was looking for. That's a great looking cover, congrats! Do you know if they make a generic black top?

They will paint it any color you want. If you match your truck they just get the color code off your door when you order.

What part of NC are you in?

Clemmons... I was just on the web site. Found a few dealers. they don't have what I was looking for which is a black cover kinda rough looking material....not painted black. It is definitely something to consider though.

Generic black top

Received this in response to inquiry at www.versacover.com
Very lightweight and easy to remove.

First of all, thank you for considering VersaCover!* Below is the latest development schedule for covers to be made for the Nissan Titan:

Nissan Titan Crew Cab (without Utili-Track System) – May 2004
(Those with Utili-Track Systems would need to remove the Utili-Track to be able to install this cover model)

Nissan Titan Crew Cab Cover (for trucks with Utili-Track System) – July 2004

Nissan Titan Ext. Cab (for trucks without Utili-Track System) – July 2004

Nissan Titan Ext. Cab* (for trucks with Utili-Track System)* - July 2004

This is a realistic estimate for bringing these products to market.* Hopefully their development will be quicker than the schedule above, but as of now, this is the most accurate schedule we can put forward.***

The reason for the extra time between the 2 Titan Crew Cab Models (one with the Utili-Track and the one without):* Custom, low profile hardware designed to take as little space as possible on the track will need to be designed, developed, and mass produced from scratch.* This is why the extra 30-60 days added to the development of the cover for the Crew Cab with the Utili-Track System.* Once that hardware is developed it will also work on the Nissan Titan Ext. Cab versions.* The cover will install perfectly over the side rail and tailgate protectors that come with your Nissan (as well as all bedliners).

All of our covers come in the same satin black finish that is designed to match the trim on your truck and the price for the Titan cover is $599.00.* If the shipping promotion of $58.00 to any business address in the U.S. is suspended prior to the release of these covers, VersaCover will honor the $58.00 shipping promotion for those Nissan Titan owners as you are now recorded on our waiting list.* As soon as these covers are released, those who are on the VersaCover Titan waiting list (such as yourself) will be notified immediately.* If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email at anytime.*

Again, thank you for your continued interest in VersaCover!

Regards, Mark Kidder

mrmason. did you put yourself on their list? If I wanted to, would I just write to customer service? What's everyone's opinion of these two covers, Versa cover or LSE II?

Hey titanparts1,

Wondering if you can help me. I saw a ford f150 with a hard cover similar to the A.R.E. hard tonneau but attached (looked more like built in, not custom) to the top of the cover were rails that fit a ski/snowboard rack using the mighty mount system. Have you seen anything like this recently for a possible titan application? Btw you actual name escapes me, being a member for so long i like to use peoples names. You can post reponse here or a PM, does matter to me.thx

I had the Undercover (Versa Cover) on my F-150 for 3 years and it was very good. It is easy to take off if you need the entire bed. Because it is plastic, you do not have to worry about scratching or cracking it when removing it. It was very weather tight. I went with a rolling system this timer (Roll Bak) because I did not like having to take it off when I needed to carry tall items (most of the time, a spare in the moment purchase).
Good Luck

Yes, I am on their list. Just send an e-mail telling them which cover you are interested in, and they will contact you when it is available. I have no experience with either the A.R.E. LS11 or the Versa cover but was glad to see Orlando Titan's positive post about the Versa. I want a lightweight hard cover. I'm pulling a 6500# travel trailer (700# tongue weight) with a 4x4 CC and have very little room for heavy accessories.

Do you know if the versacovers for Titans with utility trak systems coming out in July will be electronically retractable? PaceEdwards makes one called the BedLocker that is electronically retractable but it doesn't currently work with the utility trak system.

Thanks

The versacover is not a retractable type of cover. It is a hard cover that has hydraulic lifts to open.
I do not see how a retractable cover is ever going to work with the utilitrack.
