Question Ventvisor Install Question

I installed the AVS VentVisors for my KC today. Very easy install. But the instructions say to tuck the front flange between the mirror and the door. I'm worried about water getting into the door panel now. Anyone else have this concern, or is it not possible due to the internal construction of the door?

NY - Don't put the visor flange between the mirror and the gasket, whatever you do. Flange should be between the gasket and the body. To seal the slight gap that results, loosen the mirrors enough to put a small amount of clear silicon RTV (GE is what I used) in the small gap. Install ventvisors, tighten mirrors, and wipe off any excess RTV with soft cloth and rubbing alcohol. That's how I installed my VentaShade visors, should work for yours.
Good Luck!
