Driver's side seat belt buckle sweaking?

Anyone having trouble with their seat belt buckles sweaking. Mine developed a nasty annoying metal on plastic sweak about 2 months old. At first I thought it was coming from my seat b/c eveytime I was driving over bumps and hard roads I was hearing the sweak.
I finally narrowed it down to my seat belt buckle, it has too much play back-in-forth inside the buckle housing. I tried the good ol' fix-all duct tape and it worked, but it did not allow for easy in and out-so I ditched that-it was kind of janky anyway. Now I am thinking of using some of the clear tape left over from my bug guard install? May consider going to dealer for a replacement, don't want to sound picky, but this is pretty bad unless the stereo is cranked-which isn't so bad. Thanks

I had the same problem with my Titan and my Wife's 02 Altima. I just put a few drops of all-puporse oil in the seat belt receiver and haven't heard the squeak since.

same here, a spritz of silicone spray is a good cure all, use it on most metal/hinge type squeaking.
