Pull off the armrest, there are three screws to be removed under it. Remove the seat belt attachments. Take off the panel at the lower seatbelt anchor (it pulls off). Then starting at the bottom pull the panel off the door frame, it is held on with plastic clips. A panel removal tool helps (it looks like a heavy duty fork) but you can do it with a screwdrive if you are careful. Once the panel is off, check the door frame for any plastic clips that separated from the panel instead of the door frame. These will need to be removed from the frame and placed back on the panel before it is reinstalled.
