Custom Dash Kit!

Hey all,

I scoured the net trying to get somebody who makes dash kits to cut me a custom bezel cover for my Armada since I put my 1-din-sized Premier head unit in. I finally found a company called Alsa that I assume actually provides the materials to the dash companies. I ordered 2 linear feet of the exact brushed aluminum material (with adhesive) and will custom fabricating a new bezel cover as well as cover for the center dash piece soon. Sherwood dash wouldn't even talk to me about a custom piece..and they actually provide the kits for a lot of the online dash kit retailers. No worries though! Alsa makes all kinds of different coverings, so a complete custom deal would be possible. The material will cut with simple shears- just make a paper template, cut, and apply!

Anyway, thought this might be useful to some of you with already installed dash kits and/or custom stereos. I'll post some pics of my rig soon.

maybe you can just have a storage shelf made to take up the rest space left below the new HU? Then you can just use the factory replacement bezel and Melt candy bars to boot:-)
