E&G Grill Photo

I had a request to post photos of the E&G grill on my truck. Accordingly, here is what the grill looks like a day after driving in the rain.

Wow!

Very nice indeed! Looks tough! Is it easy to keep it clean? How thick is the metal used?

It is no harder or easier than anything else to keep clean, you just have to wash it. It is pretty heavy duty. The stainless steel is 10 gauge which is .1345 inch I think that the limiting factor on strength is the stock plastic grill to which it is attached. In other words, if you take a big rock in the grill at 80 mph, I think you need to be worried about the plastic breaking, not the stainless steel.

Best,
Where did you buy the grill? How much? Is it hard to install and did you have to remove the Nissan emblem?

Billy,
Figured I would answer for bestatchess since I requested the pics .
You can get the grill at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

You don't have to remove emblem, the grill pieces lay over existing grill and held on by clips. According to bestatchess, it is fairly simple to install.

It bolts over the existing grill. There are 3 upper pieces and 1 lower piece. You have to remove the existing grill to install. It comes with instructions and it is pretty easy. I think you have to remove the existing grill to install just about all of the after market grills. You need a long flat blade screwdriver to disengage the clips that hold the stock grill. I backed the lower grill & central upper grill with 1/8 stainless steel mesh. Photos at post 27 in this thread:
