debadging: removing adhesive tape?

i took off my v8 stickers with dental floss. worked pretty good. there seems to be some tape left over. what are the best and easiest ways to remove this tape? i have done a search on this topic and couldn't find any really good info so i apologize in advance.

Goo Gone or denatured alcohol will remove the residual tape & adhesive. After washing, apply wax. You're done!

3m makes a real good adhesive remover as well.

i thought goo gone would work but i wasn't sure, what should i use to rub the tape off if i use goo gone or WD40?

I used my Blockbuster card since it was stiff and thinner than a credit card. It slices right through the adhesive. I then use Meguires paint cleaner #1 to remove all excess adhesive.

3M general purpose adhesive remover, part no. 051135-08984. takes off glue, wax, tar, grease etc.
